She has trained specifically with Ginger Hedrick, Sari Mejia Santo, Juanita Lopez, Cynthia Lochard, Cynthia Shipley and Jerome Weinberg. She continues to learn from these teachers and many more through continuing Pilates education as well as taking lessons with her colleagues in the St. Louis area. She strongly believes in continuing her own education to improve her teaching and bring the best to her clients.

Kelly began taking Pilates classes in high school to supplement her extensive dance training. She graduated with honors from the University of Arizona with a BFA in dance. She went on to dance professionally with the Charleston Ballet Theatre in Charleston, SC before moving to St. Louis to join the Big Muddy Dance Company where she danced for 10 years until retiring in 2022.

Most recently, Kelly was certified as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist through Dr. Sarah Ellis Duvall, PT, DPT, CPT with Core Exercise Solutions. She loves working with pregnant or postpartum women, whether they are newly postpartum or 50 years!

Kelly is a mother of two little girls and has taught dance up to the collegiate level at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She brings discipline, an attention to detail, patience, and persistence to each client she works with. She’s worked with men and women ranging from age 10-85. Whether they are professional athletes, amatuer dancers, postpartum mothers, or living with chronic pain- she believes Pilates is for every body and will invigorate your mind, body and spirit. She believes regular practice of Pilates can change and heal the body and most importantly should be fun!
